Born in Chicago’s, Austin community STILL RILL has been rapping since the early age of 10, although only messing around, the love for the art was always present. His first actual studio session wasn’t until his 20th birthday. “While growing up, I was strongly influenced by obvious greats like jay-Z”, he says. Yet, “I listened and understood the creativity of everybody from Shyne to Project pat”. He recently released his third mixtape mixtape titled The Curse of Kush. Still Rill’s first two mixtapes, “Mission Possible” and “HIStory” have over 15,000 downloads combined since there release. The moderate success from those prior released projects have helped Rill land opening act slots for artist like Fat Joe, Faboulous, and Twista. Rill has performed all over the midwest with a substantial turnout every where the Rill Merch Family takes stage. “Being different has always come easy to me” he repeatedly stresses the importance of this mindset, which effortlessly show through his music.
